ENGINEERING PORTFOLIO / 2026

Design.
Build.
Make it work.

I’m Aneeq, a mechanical engineering student at MSOE. I turn ideas into working hardware—from Baja drivetrains to industrial products and embedded controls.

01 / SELECTED WORK

From concept to hardware.

Industry projects and student-built machines.
Explore the problem, my contribution, and the process.

Project galleries feature CAD, photographs, validation screenshots, and original working notes from my engineering portfolio.

02 / EXPERIENCE

Built on real work.

Connecting design decisions to the people
who build, test, and use the result.

01

Rockwell Automation

Application Engineering → Mechanical Development

Experience across low-voltage motor control centers and low-voltage drives, including Creo CAD, prototype development, and 3D printing. Continued contributing part-time alongside school.

02

Husco

Design Engineer Intern

Combined mechanical engineering with embedded development through an STM32-based PWM controller for solenoid valves, using current measurements to refine system behavior.

03

MSOE Baja SAE

Executive Principal & Drivetrain Lead

Lead drivetrain engineering for a student-built off-road vehicle, bringing together subsystem design, team coordination, hands-on fabrication, and competition preparation.

04

Northern Gear and Machining

Quality Control Technician

Developed a manufacturing perspective through quality control work—an early foundation for thinking about how mechanical designs become physical parts.

03 / THE ENGINEER

At home between
a CAD model
and a workbench.

I’m Aneeq Ahmad, a mechanical engineering student at Milwaukee School of Engineering. My interests sit at the intersection of mechanical design, vehicles, and controls.

From leading mechanical work on FRC Team 6421 and electrical work in Build Moto to developing a Baja drivetrain, I’ve always been drawn to projects where the finished system has to perform in the real world.
